We welcome Christian singles at all stages of their faith journey, whether your faith is central to your daily life or simply the foundation of the future you want to build.
How are matches made?
We don’t use swiping or random profiles. Our matching system is based on deep compatibility—values, life goals, and personal beliefs. Once a match is found, both members receive an email notification with a secure link to start messaging privately on our platform. No full profiles are shared, only the verified profile photo to confirm identity. Communication remains on our private platform until both parties mutually decide if, when, and how to exchange contact details.
What happens if I don’t find a match within 12 months?
We stand by our commitment to finding the right match for you. If we don’t match you with someone within 12 months, you’ll receive an additional 12 months of membership at no extra cost, or we’ll offer a refund (excluding the verification and processing fees).
How does Genuine Matches ensure safety?
Safety is a top priority for us. Every member undergoes identity verification and background checks through a trusted third-party service. While we take necessary precautions to help ensure that all members are who they say they are, please note that the final responsibility for safety during personal interactions lies with the members.

What is the onboarding process like?
The onboarding process is thorough and ensures that we match you based on true compatibility. After you join, you’ll complete an in-depth questionnaire about your values, relationship goals, and what you’re looking for in a partner. You’ll also undergo background checks and identity verification. This process helps ensure that every connection is intentional and meaningful.
How soon can I expect to find a match?
The timing for a match depends on your compatibility and the quality of matches in our database. While some members are matched in a few weeks, others may take longer. We prioritize finding the right match, not just quick matches, so your experience will be unique and tailored to you.
What if someone isn’t honest on their questionnaire?
Our platform values honesty, and we trust our members to provide truthful information. If it’s found that a member has provided inaccurate or misleading answers on their questionnaire, their membership may be terminated without a refund. We rely on the integrity of our members to maintain a safe and trustworthy community.
Do you guarantee I’ll get married?
While we can’t guarantee marriage, we do everything we can so that you’ll be matched with someone who meets your values, goals, and vision for a lifelong relationship. Genuine Matches takes the guesswork out of modern dating by focusing on deep compatibility, not just surface-level connections.
Do I have to attend the Q&A sessions with Dr. Pickering?
No, attending the Q&A sessions with Dr. Glenn Pickering is optional. However, we strongly encourage it as they offer valuable insights into building a successful, Christ-centered marriage. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and get expert advice directly from Dr. Pickering.

What if I need help with my account?
Each member is assigned a dedicated Concierge to help you along in the journey. We’re here to assist you with any questions or issues you might have!
What if I find my forever match?
We’d love to hear your story! We just ask that you please let us know right away so that you don’t continue to receive future matches. You can submit your testimonial directly through your Member Dashboard, or feel free to let your dedicated Concierge know and they’ll take care of it for you!
